Weekend Getaways

We have had some fun Weekend Getaways the last couple of weeks! First, we went to Palmyra with some of Bryce's family to see the Hill Cumorah Pageant, and it was such a blast! We were able to go swimming, go out to dinner, go to the Pageant, hang out, and were able to visit the Sacred Grove before we went home. It was so much fun to see everyone and we had such a great time! Then this last weekend, Julie flew out to stay with Emilee and Gavin (Bryce's sister), and so we went to see her and spend the weekend together! It is always so much fun when we get together! We were able to go boating, watch movies, and eat some YUMMY food! Thank you for the FUN WEEKENDS EVERYONE!

Our Weekend in Palmyra

We went swimming at the hotel before the Pageant started, and the girls LOVED playing with Bryce

We had such a great time with Camille and Chad's family, Emilee and Gavin's family, and Rob! This was when we got to the Pageant

The Pageant was really neat to see!

On Sunday before we went home, we went to the Sacred Grove... and it is so GORGEOUS

Baseball & Bridger

We went to a Nationals baseball game here in D.C and it was a lot of fun! The weather was PERFECT, the hot dogs were SO GOOD, and we got to spend a Saturday night with BRYCE!
There are also a couple pictures of Bridger too- he is always doing something cute or funny... so I have to capture the fun stage he is in!

Before we sat down!

During the Game
Bryce with his selling buddies- Jeremy and Thayne (with his boy Cache)
After the game
I always find him climbing in the pantry!
Bridge watching his movie with dadda
Bridger was so cuddly, and fell asleep!
He had BBQ sauce all over... so he got to jump in the bath!

Our Trip Home

Bridge and I flew home to Idaho and it was SUCH A BLAST!!! It was so fun to see Jenn and Matt's new home and it was even funner helping Jenn decorate! It was so EXCITING to see everyone again and spend time together! We were able to make it to our favorite restaurants, go on our daily pop runs, go on walks, talk, BBQ, watch the kids play on the water toy that Grandma Peterson spoiled them with, and visit our family and friends! We had such a great time and can't wait to be back in a couple of months!

It was so much fun spending time together and helping Jenn shop for and decorate her new house!

There was no way these three were really going to fall asleep!

Bridger has always gotten so comfortable on Uncle Doug- and usually falls asleep :)

4th of July

The 4th of July is one of the funnest holidays to celebrate! It is always such a fun and exciting day! This year, the guys got off of work early to go to the fireworks... and it was a BLAST! We rode the metro to downtown D.C. and we were able to sit right by the Washington Monument to watch the fireworks! It was so much fun waiting for the fireworks to start, and when they did... we were blown away! Bridger started crying saying that they were "coming!" But he ended up liking them after he realized that they weren't going to come get him! It was so much fun and something we will never forget!

Waiting for the show to start!

On our way home- Bridger was so TIRED, so he got his blanket, his binky, and duck for the ride home
