We were finally able to find out that... Bridger is getting a little BROTHER! We moved home from selling this summer and I could not wait to see my doctor again~ I am 28 weeks and am so excited for another little baby boy!!!

I have never been to New York City before, so I HAD TO GO before we left to go home for the summer! So, Bryce and I took a day trip to NY and it could not have been more perfect! Bryce's sister Emilee offered to watch Bridger for us, which made it all possible- and Bryce and I had the day to spend together! We went to Times Square first... and it was better than I even imagined it to be! The whole day was so much fun! We just walked around the city, shopped, had our Subway adventures, and enjoyed every minute of it!

We have been able to do some really fun things this summer- some of our favorites are going swimming, shopping, and out to dinner! But we were also able to go to the Redskins VS Patriots football game and it was such a blast! I could not believe how HUGE the stadium was and how cool it was to see the teams in real life!

We went to the National Aquarium in Baltimore and it is HUGE! There was so much to see and it was really fun showing Bridger the fish, dolphins, frogs, alligators and everything. But the SHARKS had to be our favorite! They were so big and so close! I was just as freaked out and fascinated as Bridger was I think :) It was a lot of fun!

Bridger is always making us laugh whether he is being funny, cute, sweet, naughty, or sneaky... and we love every minute of it! So here a couple of pictures of our little man!

Weekend Getaways

We have had some fun Weekend Getaways the last couple of weeks! First, we went to Palmyra with some of Bryce's family to see the Hill Cumorah Pageant, and it was such a blast! We were able to go swimming, go out to dinner, go to the Pageant, hang out, and were able to visit the Sacred Grove before we went home. It was so much fun to see everyone and we had such a great time! Then this last weekend, Julie flew out to stay with Emilee and Gavin (Bryce's sister), and so we went to see her and spend the weekend together! It is always so much fun when we get together! We were able to go boating, watch movies, and eat some YUMMY food! Thank you for the FUN WEEKENDS EVERYONE!

We went to a Nationals baseball game here in D.C and it was a lot of fun! The weather was PERFECT, the hot dogs were SO GOOD, and we got to spend a Saturday night with BRYCE!

Our Trip Home

Bridge and I flew home to Idaho and it was SUCH A BLAST!!! It was so fun to see Jenn and Matt's new home and it was even funner helping Jenn decorate! It was so EXCITING to see everyone again and spend time together! We were able to make it to our favorite restaurants, go on our daily pop runs, go on walks, talk, BBQ, watch the kids play on the water toy that Grandma Peterson spoiled them with, and visit our family and friends! We had such a great time and can't wait to be back in a couple of months!

It was so much fun spending time together and helping Jenn shop for and decorate her new house!

There was no way these three were really going to fall asleep!

Bridger has always gotten so comfortable on Uncle Doug- and usually falls asleep :)

4th of July

The 4th of July is one of the funnest holidays to celebrate! It is always such a fun and exciting day! This year, the guys got off of work early to go to the fireworks... and it was a BLAST! We rode the metro to downtown D.C. and we were able to sit right by the Washington Monument to watch the fireworks! It was so much fun waiting for the fireworks to start, and when they did... we were blown away! Bridger started crying saying that they were "coming!" But he ended up liking them after he realized that they weren't going to come get him! It was so much fun and something we will never forget!

I turned 24 on May 28 and was able to celebrate my special day with my little family! Bryce took the day off of work and it was an absolute dream being able to spend the entire day together! It could not have been funner or more special! Thank you to everyone that called, texted, sent cards and e-mailed me... it meant the world and just added to "the perfect day."

5 Years

Bryce and I celebrated our 5 Year Anniversary (May 8) and it could not have been more special! I cannot believe it has been 5 years already! I am just so grateful for Bryce and for the amazing husband and friend he is to me! He just gets me :) and knows how to make me happy! I am very blessed to have him in my life! He is the cutest dad to Bridger and such a HUGE help to me! And.... he's very handsome :) Happy Anniversary sweetheart, I love you!

MOTHER'S DAY

It was so special being able to celebrate Mother's Day in the same weekend as our Anniversary! I am so grateful for my calling as a mother- There is nothing that brings more happiness and joy into my life than loving, taking care of, and spending every hour of my day with Bridge! He is such a light in my life! I am also so grateful for my greatest example, my sweet mom who I love and adore so much! I just hope I can become even a tiny bit like her :) I am also grateful for Bryce's mom and for the amazing mother she is and always has been to each of her children as well. Happy Mother's Day!

Our Adventure Back East

So... we moved to Landover, Maryland for the summer (Bryce is selling alarms) and we will be here until the end of the summer! It has been really fun getting to know our new place, and it was really fun being able to visit Bryce's sisters/brother on our way out here (we drove... and it is a very long drive:). The part that wasn't so fun was saying goodbye to home, and to our family who we were able to spend so much time with! But we are excited for our little summer adventure here in Maryland!!!

Bridger's Birthday- 2 Years Old

Bridger's birthday was so much fun this year! He could tell that it was an exciting day (and was so proud all day long)! It was cute because he would say "BIRTHDAY" and acted like he knew what it meant! I think he did, because he walked around like he knew it was his BIG DAY!

We were able to spend some of the day with Bryce's sister Crystal and her family because it was also her twin boy's Birthday- so we had a combined birthday party for all three! It was so much fun... We LOVE being with them!

It was so darling how they had everything decorated and was the funnest surprise ever! They handed us each our party hats and we had such a blast! They definitely made our night- So thank you mom, dad, and Whit for being so thoughtful and making Bridger's birthday so special!

We had the funnest weekend with my mom and dad, Doug and Rebekah, and Whitney ! On Thursday night we had the most amazing opportunity to attend a fundraiser for RISING STAR, which is an organization that my dad is involved with in helping leprosy affected children in India. The fundraiser was held at the practice gym for the Utah Jazz- so we were able to spend the evening with Kyle Korver, Deron Williams, Jeff Hornacek, and Shawn Bradley. We had a blast! My dad had the idea to have each one of them sign the jacket that Bridger was wearing... so we will be saving his jacket along with the pictures we have with these guys! And we were also able to take my Grandma Andrus's Kyle Korver jersey that she wears with us for him to sign for her- so that was really fun too!!! SO...Thank you dad for the funnest night ever!

OUR TRIP TO MOMBASA

Mombasa is about 8 hours from Nairobi. We went for a zone conference and stayed right on the Indian Ocean! It was absolutely gorgeous!

This was the prettiest safari lodge with the most amazing view!

This was the watering hole at night- they would turn the lights on at night so you could watch the animals come in to drink. It was really fun to be eating dinner and see all of the animals come in for water.

We celebrated Bryce's birthday while we were here- Happy Birthday Bry! This was at breakfast.

We were watching the animals, and they brought Bryce some sparkling grape juice for his birthday- and so we made a toast!

In front of the Buckingham Palace-On our way home, we had a 6 hour layover in London... and so Bryce's sister who lives in Oxford came to the airport at 5:00 a.m to see us- and so we took a train to see the Buckingham Palace! We just wished we could have seen Dallin while we were so close!

They had this Ferrari in the London airport- and Bryce could not help but get a picture by his dream car!

Bryce and I had the most amazing time together visiting his parents in Kenya, Africa. They were called to be Mission Presidents over the Nairobi, Kenya Mission- and left in June of '07. So, Bryce and I were able to visit them, and it was an absolute blast! They definitely treated us to a good time, and it was fun being able to see what they have been called to do.... and they are doing a fantastic job!

We decided not to take Bridger with us, and so my mom, dad, Whitney, and Suzanne took turns watching Bridge for us.... and even though it was so hard to leave him, it was comforting to know that he would be in good hands! I knew that they would love him and take such good care of him- which they did, and I could not be more grateful! Thank you so much!

It was so much fun being with Bryce for two weeks straight in Africa and experiencing the most amazing things together! Bill and Genie took us to the Masai Mara on a 3 day safari, and it was SUCH A BLAST! I cannot even begin to explain how amazing it was to see the animals up close and in real life! The whole thing was INCREDIBLE! They also took us with them to Mombasa for a zone conference and we were able to stay at a hotel on the Indian Ocean for 4 nights- it was beautiful! On our way back from Mombasa we stopped at Kilaguni, which is a safari lodge that overlooks a watering hole, so you can see all the animals come in to drink (and they light the watering hole up at night as well). It was gorgeous- the scenery, the animals, the lodge, just everything!

We had such an amazing time with Bryce's parents- they are so much fun to be with and we enjoyed every minute we had with them. It was fun being able to see where they live and experience a little part of their life in Africa! So thank you Bill and Genie- we will never forget it!

Summer in Maryland!!!

We had the best time living in Maryland this past summer. It was fun being able to spend so much time together and live so close to D.C. We had a lot of fun shopping, swimming, eating out, touring the amazing monuments and sites in D.C. and spending all of this time together. It was a fun adventure, but we are definitely happy to be home!

Anytime Bridger thought we were leaving to go BYE BYE he would wait by the door for me!

Bridger would wait by the door when it was time for DAD to come home.... and I've never seen anyone more excited then when it was time to open the door to greet Bryce.

Doug and Rebekah's Surprise Visit!!!

Doug and Rebekah SURPRISED me (Bryce was in on it) and came to visit us in Maryland! They came a day early and I was so excited and SO SURPRISED at the same time! We had a blast together as we ate pizza, drank pop and watched the Olympics... we also went swimming and took them on a tour of D.C. It went by way too fast, but was also way too fun! WE LOVE BEING WITH YOU GUYS! You are so much fun to be with and we are so grateful for you! We always laugh so hard, and of course stay up SO LATE because it's just never long enough! You are so cute with Bridger and he LOVES you- You are going to be the most amazing parents! Thanks again for the FUNNEST weekend- we loved every minute!

My Trip to Arizona!!!

I was so excited when I found out that things would work out for me to go see Jenn and meet baby Sophie! I couldn't wait to see that little saucepan, and I knew that she would be the cutest little bug... And I was right! How couldn't she be when she has parents as goodlooking as hers are? It was the sweetest feeling seeing Sophie for the first time, and she instantly melted my heart. She is the sweetest, most beautiful little angel, and I was so glad that I was able to spend time with her- And Jenn OF COURSE- the time always flies by way too fast, and it's always so hard to say goodbye. We are so proud for the whole week, and then we know that we'll just bawl! It was so much fun going shopping and swimming, playing games, watching shows, SONIC SONIC SONIC, talking, and spending time together. It is so fun watching Jenn as a mom because she is such an amazing mother- and her kids adore her! She is so fun, patient, and understanding... and seeing her with Sophie was too much to handle (She's obsessed with her)! I am so grateful for you Jenn and love you so much. Thanks also Matt for letting me take away your wife and come see your saucy bug and spend time with you guys... it was a blast! I love you!

Ft. Lauderdale, Here We Come!!!

The very weekend that Bryce got finished selling for the summer.... we jumped on a plane to Ft. Lauderdale, FL to visit Jess and Brod! We had the time of our lives and I don't think it could have been any funner! We went to the Miami and Hollywood beach, went to the funnest restaurants, watched the funniest show at nights, drank pops, talked, laughed, drank Brodie's margaritas, and had an absolute blast. We were also able to celebrate Alexia's birthday while we were there, and she was not only Queen for the day, but the prettiest Queen I've ever seen! Alexia and Audrey are the cutest little friends and were constantly making us laugh... and they took Bridger under their wing and introduced him to the color PINK and all of their fun little toys. The time flew by so fast, but it couldn't have been funner. Thanks for making it SO incredible- we love you guys so much! Thanks Brod for taking time off to be with us and for making everything so much fun, and for the juicy drinks that you would make at night! And Jess, thank you so much for planning the funnest week- your little list was so cute! I'm so grateful for you Jess and for our friendship!!! THANKS AGAIN for everything!

Bridger and I took a little road trip to Virginia Beach to see Doug and Rebekah- and it was such a blast! They made it so much fun for Bridger and me. We did a lot of shopping, stayed up late, ate the best food that Rebekah made (she is such a great cook), made a lot of pop runs, saw downtown Virginia and the beach, went swimming, talked, laughed, and had a lot of fun together (Just like the good old days when we used to live together :) The days flew by! I am so glad that I was able to go see them! Bridger loves them too- He is obsessed with uncle Doug (calls him Du and he started saying Bekah too (bepa) :) They are so cute with Bridger and are going to be the best parents! Thank you for letting me come and stay- it was a dream! I love you both so much!

We had such a fun weekend with Doug! He is working in Virginia Beach and decided that he would come and see Bryce and me for the weekend (while Rebekah was out of town)- AND WE ARE SO GLAD THAT HE DID! It was an absolute blast. It couldn't have gone by faster- but we really enjoyed every minute! We took him to D.C. and walked around, ate, and definitely saw some cool things. Doug is so much fun to be with and is constantly making you laugh. Not only do Bryce and I love being with Doug, but Bridger loves him too (with good reason, because Doug is very cute with Bridger), and he even says his name! We are SO glad that you came- love you Doug!

I am so grateful for the wonderful fathers that I have in my life!

My SWEETHEART husband is the father that I have always dreamed of for my children. Even though we only have one child, I have already seen the characteristics that Bryce has that I know he will always be such an amazing dad. He helps me so much, he plays with Bridger, he feeds him, he gets him dressed, he sings him to sleep, and I love watching him as a father. I love you Bryce, with all my heart!

My dad is such an amazing father and friend to me- It makes me want to bawl just thinking about him- we have a joke that whenever we have to say goodbye to him we know that we will bawl EVERYTIME! I don't know what it is, but we just adore him so much. He is so wise and such a perfect example to us. He is also SO MUCH fun to be with. He has the perfect balance! We love you dad!!!

And I can't forget about Bill, Bryce's dad is also one of the most amazing fathers and such a great example! It makes me grateful for the huge impact that he has had in Bryce's life and for helping him become the man that he is today. He is so generous and so kind to us. We miss him, but are grateful for his willingness to serve the Lord! We love you Bill!

It was SO MUCH FUN... we decided that we wanted to walk around the river, feed the ducks, and have a picnic if the weather was nice, so we did just that! We made some sandwiches and then stopped and got some chips and a pop. Then we packed our food and blanket in the stroller and walked around the river- BRIDGER LOVES BIRDS... he will just look for them and as soon as he sees one he'll point and follow it with his finger in the air. It is so cute! Then we got some bread out to feed the ducks, and Bridger didn't know what to think- he was just staring at them. Then we had our little picnic! It was a lot of fun just hanging out with MY TWO FAVORITE BOYS!

May is a really fun month for me because I get to celebrate our Anniversary, Mother's Day, and my Birthday. So far, we have celebrated our 4 YEAR ANNIVERSARY by going shopping and out to our favorite restaurant (Red Lobster). Nothing is funner than getting dressed up and spending the whole day together to celebrate one of the best days of your life. Bryce is the best husband and my very best friend, and I am so grateful that we met 5 years ago in a Rexburg apartment... WHO KNEW? And thanks to our little Bridger I was able to celebrate Mother's Day too- which was such a special day! We went over to my mom's house to let her know how much we love her and what AN AMAZING mother she is and has always been. She is unreal! I love you mom!

It was so special to be there when Dallin opened his call. He didn't know that the call came in the mail until my dad got out his video camera and we showed it to him- HE WAS PRETTY SHOCKED :) Dallin is so AMAZING- and I'm so excited that he is going to the England Manchester Mission. It fits him so perfectly- we joked saying that we can just see him as the next James Bond with his SUIT on in England. He is going to be an incredible missionary. He has the sweetest love for the gospel and will help so many people come to love the gospel as he does. I love you Dal- I'm so proud of you.

The last couple of weeks have been really fun. Bridger is starting to venture out on his own a little bit more. I will look and he's gone, and it scares me so bad! He's so fast! I found him the other day under the desk playing with the flashlight he had found. He also loves getting the volleyballs out of the bag and throwing them and chasing them. But just to make sure that Bridger grows up liking basketball more than volleyball, Bryce watched March Madness with him for a little bit (it was cute). He is so much fun and keeps us constantly entertained.

Bridger's FIRST birthday was on March 1- and it was so much fun celebrating it with him (even though he had no idea what was going on). He was just proud that everyone else was proud... so he could feel the excitement. We went to Pizza Hut for lunch with Dallin and Whitney and spent most of the day with them. They made the day really fun for us. Then Bridger unwrapped his presents,and LOVED playing with the wrapping paper. My dad's birthday is March 4, so we had a little party at my parents house and got a cake for both of them. Then Bridger opened his gifts from Grandma and Grandpa... and needless to say they spoiled him with the cutest GIFTS. It was a lot of fun! I am so grateful that our little Bridge Bug was born a year ago (I can't believe how fast time flies, and it makes me want to bawl thinking about it). He is such a joy in our life- he makes everyday a good one for me because he is constantly making me smile and laugh. I love being a mom!

Girls Weekend in Chicago

Bryce's sisters wanted to plan a trip for the "sisters" this year... so we all met in Chicago for the weekend- AND IT WAS A BLAST. We went to WICKED, shopped, visited downtown Chicago, stayed up late, drank a lot of pop, and had a lot of fun together. There were 8 of us total, with 3 babies. It was really fun seeing everyone because we hadn't seen each other since this last June. "Wicked" was AMAZING!!! I've never really seen a Broadway Show before... so I was blown away.

Valentine's Day

I always get so excited for Valentine's Day because Bryce always thinks of the funnest surprises- so I never know what to expect. So this year we went to lunch at our little spot on the West side of Idaho Falls called The Crossing :) for those of you that know where this is, you'll laugh because we always talk about it. Then Bryce took me on a snowmobiling ride! I haven't been on a snowmobile for so long, and I was so scared when he would go over hills because they were so steep and I thought for sure we were going to roll over. But it was a blast! Then we got ready and went to dinner, which is always so fun. After dinner we got ice cream and went to "our dancing spot" from when we were dating and danced to our song. Julie offered to babysit Bridger, which was so nice- because it is ALWAYS fun having some alone time every once in a while. I am so grateful for my Valentine- I love you Bry.
PS- I got BANGS! I thought it was time for a change :) They are kinda fun.

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

We had such a wonderful Christmas this year. It really is the most exciting time of the year. And Bridger had his first Christmas, which was really fun for Bryce and me. Since Bryce's parents are in Africa, we spent Christmas Eve and Christmas day with my family. It was a blast!!!

It was especially fun this year because everyone was home this year for Christmas. Because everyone was home this year, we got a new updated family picture as well.

It has been so much fun getting ready for Christmas this year. Bryce and I aren't in our PERMANENT home yet... so I spent my time and energy helping my mom decorate for Christmas this year. Our friends came over and we all helped with my mom's Christmas Tree. Fancy Nancy is the name of the game- JUST LOOK AT HER TREE. It is so beautiful. It just feels like Christmas in her house. Bridger likes the tree too, so we got some pictures of him grinning in front of it.

This month is just the month of Birthdays! Jenn- Nov.4, Matt- Nov.10, Mom and Rebekah- Nov.14, Bryce- Nov.18, and Jess- Nov.26. Bryce's Birthday was a lot of fun. We celebrated it on Saturday through Monday night. Saturday- He got Breakfast in bed, lunch at Winger's, and a movie. Sunday- Some of his family came over and Mom and Dad, Dallin, and Whit came over to give him their gifts and to eat cake and ice cream. Then Bryce opened his presents. Monday- We went to dinner at Jaker's and a went to "Dan in Real Life" (which was pretty funny). It was fun celebrating Bryce's B-Day. I am so glad that he was born and grew up to be the handsome stud that he is... I guess I'll keep him! I love you Bry.

Bryce and I like to dress up on Halloween JUST FOR FUN and this year Bryce came up with the ultimate costume... doesn't he look handsome? It was fun. Connor let Bridger borrow his cute little dog costume (thanks Jenn) and Bridge just grinned for pictures and slept. We were able to spend Halloween at Mom and Dad's house which was so much fun. Mom dressed up as a cowgirl, Dall dressed up as "Agent Smith" and Whit dressed up like a 50's girl. It was a lot of FUN!
